Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to efficiently conduct motion compensation or a motion search using affine motion compensation. The encoding device according to the present invention comprises a circuit and a memory. Using the memory, the circuit limits the range for conducting the motion search or the motion compensation in an affine motion compensation prediction process of an inter-prediction process in a target block, and conducts motion compensation in the target block (S311).
