Abstract:

An encoding apparatus for encoding an image comprises: a communication unit for receiving, from a device, device information related to the device; and a processor for encoding an image by using image information related to the image and device information, wherein the processor processes the image according to the device information and/or the image information, determines a non-encoding region, a block-based encoding region, and a pixel-based encoding region of the image according to the device information and/or the image information, performs block-based encoding by using a quantization parameter determined according to the device information and/or the image information with respect to the block-based encoding region, performs pixel-based encoding with respect to the pixel-based encoding region, includes a processor for generating an encoded image by entropy-encoding a symbol determined by the block-based encoding or the pixel-based encoding, and generates a bit stream including the encoded image, region information related to the block-based encoding region and the pixel-based encoding region, and quantization information related to the quantization parameter, wherein the communication unit transmits the bit stream to the device.
