Abstract:
The present invention relates to an encoding method and a decoding method using chiral metal nanostructures. The encoding method, according to one embodiment of the present invention, comprises the steps of: producing a plurality of metal nanostructures having a chiral structure; acquiring optical data of the plurality of metal nanostructures; and producing a security medium including the plurality of metal nanostructures, wherein an encoding capacity of at least 105 may be obtained by using the chiral metal nanostructures.
