Abstract:
Disclosed are a method for performing polarisation encoding on an input data sequence so as to generate a polarisation code, and an encoder. The encoding method comprises: on the basis of a first order index set, generating a second order index set for a mother code length of a polarisation code, each order index in the first or second order index set representing the priority order of sending an information bit on a bit position indicated by the order index relative to sending information bits on bit positions indicated by other indices; according to the second order index set, extending an input data sequence into a data sequence in which the number of bits is equal to the mother code length; performing polarisation encoding on the extended data sequence, so as to generate a polarisation code.
