Abstract:
The present application discloses a low-density parity-check (LDPC) code encoding and modulation method and a communication device related to the field of wireless communications for resolving the unsatisfactory transmission performance and low transmission reliability of current modulation methods. More specifically, the method comprises: acquiring an information bit sequence Sb, and encoding the information bit sequence Sb by using an LDPC matrix H to acquire a encoded code sequence Sc; modulating the code sequence Sc to acquire a modulated symbol sequence SM, wherein a bit in a least-reliable code block in the code sequence Sc is mapped to a constellation-modulated non-least-reliable bit position during the modulation process; and transmitting the modulated symbol sequence SM to a receiving end. The technical solution provided by the present application provides all symbols in the modulated symbol sequence SM with higher reliability and balance, effectively reducing a bit error rate, enhancing encoding performance and achieving reliable transmission.
