Abstract:
One embodiment of this end mill has a rod-shaped body extending from a first end to a second end, and the body comprises a plurality of cutting edges located on the first end side and a plurality of grooves each extending from the plurality of cutting edges to the second end. When the body is viewed from the side of the first end, the plurality of cutting edges comprises a plurality of main edges and a plurality of sub edges. The plurality of main edges is provided with a first main edge, and if N1 is the number of sub edges located in the front of the first main edge in the direction of rotation and N2 is the number of sub edges located behind the first main edge in the direction of rotation, then N1 and N2 are different.
