Abstract:
This end part structure for optical connectors comprises a ferrule, a spring, a spring push, a housing, a braided tube, and a fixing member. A tube mounting part of the spring push has a first straight cylinder section and a tapered cylinder section. The fixing member is locked to the tube mounting part in a state where the braided tube is sandwiched, in the longitudinal direction, between the outer circumferential surface of the tapered cylinder section and the inner circumferential surface of the fixing member. The length of the first straight cylinder section is not less than the mesh pitch of the braided tube.
