Abstract:
An end-surface observation device (101) according to the present invention is characterized by being provided with a first lens (12) having a space portion (120) that penetrates the first lens in the optical axis direction, a light source (14) for generating light to be irradiated onto an end surface (200A) of an object under observation via the first lens, and an imaging element (15) for receiving an image of the end surface of the object under observation via the first lens. As a result, through the insertion of a structure for manipulating the end surface of the object under observation into the space portion of the first lens, it is possible to obtain an end surface observation device in which a structure for manipulating an end surface of an object under observation and an observation device for observing the end surface of the object under observation are integrated.
