Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to perform endian conversion without affecting the internal processing performance of a system, and to perform endian conversion having a complex data structure. A CPU (101) is assumed to perform data transmission to a GPU (102) having a different byte order. The CPU (101) loads a load module (111), and detects that a program is executed. After detection, the CPU (101) acquires endian conversion settings (112), and notifies an endian conversion mechanism (105) of the settings. The endian conversion mechanism (105) that has detected access from the CPU (101) to a bus (104) performs endian conversion on the basis of the endian conversion settings (112).
