Abstract:
The present invention relates to an endoplasmic stress resistant plant transformed with an elongated hypocotyl 5 (HY5) knockout gene. More particularly, the present invention relates to a transgenic plant in which a part of the HY5 gene having the nucleotide sequence of SEQ ID NO: 1 is deleted to knockout the expression of the HY5 gene, whereby the transgenic plant is improved in resistance to light-evoked endoplasmic stress.
