Abstract:
Provided is an endoscope air supply/water supply valve comprising: a piston that extends in a rod shape; and an attachment member that is inserted into the piston and that can be attached to an endoscope. The piston has a seal that forms a hollow disc shape with the center axis of the piston serving as the axis of symmetry and that shields in an airtight or watertight manner a space between the seal and the attachment member or the endoscope. The surface of the attachment member that opposes the seal includes: a first inner peripheral surface that is axially symmetrical relative to the center axis of the attachment member and that has a smaller diameter than the diameter of the outer periphery of the seal; a second inner peripheral surface that is axially symmetrical relative to the center axis of the attachment member and that has a diameter that is equal to or larger than the diameter of the outer periphery of the seal; and a connecting surface that is axially symmetrical relative to the center axis of the attachment member and that connects the first inner peripheral surface and the second inner peripheral surface.
