Abstract:
This endoscope bending operation mechanism is provided with: a first pulley (15) that tows a first wire (10a) by rotating in a first rotation direction; a second pulley (16) that tows a second wire (10b) by rotating in a second rotation direction opposite to the first rotation direction and in which the rotation center is coaxial with the first pulley (15); and a rotation shaft member (13) that engages with only the first pulley (15) during rotation in the first rotation direction and engages with only the second pulley (16) during rotation in the second rotation direction from a neutral position at which a bending part is not bent.
