Abstract:
Provided are: an endoscope device which is capable of obtaining high resolution images in both a white light observation mode and a narrow-band light observation mode; an image processing device; an image processing method; and a program. This endoscope device 1 is characterized by being provided with an image processing unit 41 which, in cases when a light source unit 3 emits first illumination light or second illumination light, generates, on the basis of an imaging signal generated by an imaging element 201, a first image corresponding to light in the green wavelength band and a second image corresponding to light in one wavelength band. The endoscope device is further characterized in that: the resolution of the first image when the first illumination light is emitted by the light source unit is higher than that of the first image when the second illumination light is emitted by the light source unit; and the resolution of the second image when the second illumination light is emitted by the light source unit is higher than that of the second image when the first illumination light is emitted by the light source unit.
