Abstract:
This endoscope device includes a light source 100, an imaging element 240, and a processing circuit 310. The imaging element 240 has a color filter. The processing circuit 310 selects a signal from first narrow-band pixels having sensitivity to a first narrow-band light, and a signal from second narrow-band pixels having sensitivity to second narrow-band light. Of a plurality of filter units in the color filter, half or more comprise filter units transmitting the first narrow-band light, and half or more comprise filter units transmitting the second narrow-band light. Then, the processing circuit 310 executes first interpolation processing wherein the signal from the first narrow-band pixels is processed for interpolation without using the signal from the second narrow-band pixels, and second interpolation processing wherein the signal from the second narrow-band pixels is processed for interpolation without using the signal from the first narrow-band pixels.
