Abstract:
An endoscope device (1) is provided with the following: a white color LED (17) having a light emitting section; a CCD (9) that picks up an image of an observation location illuminated by the light from the white color LED (17); a light adjusting circuit (14) that can adjust the drive time of the light emitting section in each image pick-up cycle of the CCD (9); a monitor (4) for performing image display of the observation location picked up by the CCD (9); and an image signal processing section (23) for converting the image signal transmitted from the CCD (9) to an image signal for display on the monitor (4). Further, the image signal processing section (23) has a color correction parameter deriving section (31) for deriving a color correction parameter corresponding to the drive time of the light emitting section, and a tone varying section (32) for correcting the color of the image signal using the color correction parameter derived using the color correction parameter deriving section (31).
