Abstract:
This endoscope device 1 comprises: identification units 31 respectively provided in a plurality of optical adapters 8; MMAs 33 connected in parallel to the identification units 31; an MMA drive circuit 40 that is provided in a body part 3 and applies a drive signal for driving the MMAs 33 via a pair of conductive lines 26a, 26b; a sine-wave generation circuit 70 that is provided in the body part 3 and applies, in a state in which any one of the plurality of optical adapters 8 is attached to a distal end part 4, an AC signal to the identification unit 31 via the pair of the conductive lines 26a, 26b; and a CPU 20 that is provided in the body part 3 and measures the input impedance of the pair of conductive lines 26a, 26b at the frequency of the AC signal and identifies the optical adapter 8 attached to the distal end part 4 on the basis of the result of measurement.
