Abstract:
An endoscope (10) is provided which is equipped with an endoscopic cap (50) with an attached elevator (80), said endoscopic cap (50) being easily attachable to the distal end of the endoscope (10). This endoscope (10) is provided with: an elevator connection portion (61) which is rotatable and exposed on the distal end surface of an insertion unit (30); a first indicator (261) which is provided on the insertion unit (30); and an endoscopic cap (50) comprising a bottomed cylinder-shape cover (52) which has an open end (56) and which can be detachably attached to the distal end of the insertion unit (30) from said open end (56), and an elevator (80) which has a second indicator (262) corresponding to the first indicator (261) provided on the cover (52) and a lever connection portion (81) connected to the elevator connection portion (61) and which is rotatably provided inside of the cover (52).
