Abstract:
[Problem] The present disclosure provides an endoscope holding device that makes it possible to suppress an increase in size, an endoscopic surgery system, and a control method. [Solution] An endoscope holding device according to the present disclosure comprises: a housing that houses therein a relay optical system and that is disposed on a robot arm; a first rotation unit that is disposed to the housing and that, with respect to the optical axis of the relay optical system, rotates an endoscope which is fixed such that emitted light enters the relay optical system; and a second rotation unit that is disposed to the housing and that, with respect to the optical axis of the relay optical system, rotates an imaging device which is fixed such that light emitted from the relay optical system is incident thereon.
