Abstract:
Provided are an endoscope imaging optical system and endoscope device that achieve diameter reduction and reduce the brightness saturation of a fixed structure image. This endoscope imaging optical system has an intra-field-of-view structure blocking a part of the field of view of a subject space and is characterized by comprising a brightness stop AS and a peripheral light reduction stop PRS and in that the peripheral light reduction stop PRS is disposed at a position along the optical axis direction that satisfies conditional expression (1) and is an opening part that: blocks a light beam such that, with a first direction being the direction to the side of the peripheral light reduction stop PRS where the intra-field-of-view structure is present and a second direction being the direction to the side of the peripheral light reduction stop PRS where the intra-field-of-view structure is not present, conditional expression (2) is satisfied such that the amount of peripheral light reduction in the first direction is larger than the amount of peripheral light reduction in the second direction, which is different from the first direction; and does not block the effective light beam or reduces the amount by which the effective light beam is blocked such that the amount of peripheral light reduction in the second direction is smaller than the amount of peripheral light reduction in the first direction.
