Abstract:
A method for manufacturing an endoscope inserting portion with high manufacturing
efficiency. The method for manufacturing an endoscope inserting portion that
comprises a plurality of juxtaposed nodal rings, a protrusion provided on one
of adjacent nodal rings, and a portion provided in the other of adjacent nodal
rings and receiving the protrusion rotatably such that the nodal rigs can oscillate
each other, the method comprising a step for forming a first nodal ring preparing
portion (56a) forming one nodal ring and a second nodal ring preparing portion
(56b) forming the other nodal ring on one plate material (24) or on a plurality
of plate materials, a step for connecting the first nodal ring preparing portion
(56a) and the second nodal ring preparing portion (56b) together by press working,
and a step for forming the first and second nodal ring preparing portions (56a,
56b) into a tubular shape by press working.
