Abstract:
This light source device comprises: a first optical element which generates transmitted light obtained by removing a first wavelength band component from incident light, and generates reflected light obtained by extracting the first wavelength band component from the incident light; a first light source which emits light including at least the first wavelength band component, and causes said light to be incident on the first optical element in such a way as to become the reflected light of the first optical element; a second light source which emits light in such a way that light including a wide second wavelength band component that includes the first wavelength band becomes the transmitted light of the first optical element; and a control unit which controls the drive of the first light source and the second light source. The control unit selectively emits the first light and the second light by controlling the turning on/off of the emission of the first light source emitted light and the emission of the second light source emitted light.
