Abstract:
The manipulation unit for an endoscope 1 according to the present invention is provided with: an insertion part 2 which has a bending section 7 capable of being bent in a prescribed direction around the longitudinal axis thereof; a manipulation part 3 which is disposed contiguously to the insertion part; a plurality of manipulation wires 23 for bending the bending section; a manipulation lever 45 which is provided to the manipulation part, and the other end of which can be tilted in the prescribed direction of the bending section; a wire traction member 54 linked to an arm section 54b that is pivotally disposed within the manipulation part, that has, at the central portion, one end 45a of the manipulation lever linked thereto, and that laterally extends from the central portion; an annular housing 51 that has a through-hole 51h in which a section partway along the manipulation lever is disposed, and that is provided such that the other end 45b of the manipulation lever is brought closer thereto when the manipulation lever is tilted in the prescribed direction; a magnet that is provided to either the housing or the other end 45b of the manipulation lever; and a member that generates an attracting force by the magnetic force of the magnet, that is disposed at the other end 45b of the manipulation lever in the case when the magnet is provided to the housing, and that is disposed at the housing in the case when the magnet is provided to the other end of the manipulation lever.
