Abstract:
An endoscope optical adapter mounting/dismounting assistance tool 30 assists in mounting/dismounting of an optical adapter 20 to/from a distal-end part 11 of an insertion part 10 of an endoscope 4, and has: an assistance tool body 31 for accommodating an optical adapter 20 that can be mounted to and dismounted from the distal-end part 11 of the insertion part 10 of the endoscope 4; and a sensing filter 36 for sensing a classification of the optical adapter 20 by forming an image of observation light reflected from illumination light on an imaging element 15 provided to the insertion part 4, the sensing filter 36 being provided on an inside of the assistance tool body 31.
