Abstract:
Provided is an endoscope system that, even when there is motion, adjusts the amount of oxygen saturation level information according to the accuracy thereof. This endoscope system (10) is provided with: an image acquisition unit (54) for acquiring a first frame image in which a subject is captured and a second frame image in which the subject is captured at a timing different from that of the first frame image; an oxygen saturation level calculation unit (73) for calculating the oxygen saturation level using the first frame image and the second frame image; a reliability calculation unit (76) for calculating the reliability of the oxygen saturation level calculated by the oxygen saturation level calculation unit using a signal ratio (G1/G2) which is the ratio of the value of a first specific wavelength band pixel corresponding to a specific wavelength band of the first frame image to the value of a second specific wavelength band pixel corresponding to a specific wavelength band of the second frame image; and an information amount adjustment unit (78) for adjusting the amount of information for the oxygen saturation level using the reliability.
