Abstract:
In this endoscope 1, the temperature of an endoscope connector 5 to be connected to a processor 10 is appropriately controlled by installing, on a connector substrate 8 of the endoscope connector 5, a temperature sensor 34 for directly measuring the temperature of the connector substrate 8, and performing control to restrict the power supply from an endoscope power supply source circuit 33 (namely, limit and stop the power supply) on the basis of the measured temperature of the connector substrate 8 (namely, that of the endoscope connector 5).
