Abstract:
An endoscope is provided with: an insertion part (15) inserted in a subject; a water supply tube (13) capable of delivering a fluid, the water supply tube (13) having a distal-end opening (13a) and being disposed along the longitudinal axis of the insertion part (15) from a distal-end part of the insertion part (15); and a suction tube (14) capable of suctioning a fluid, the suction tube (14) being disposed along the longitudinal axis of the insertion part (15) from the distal-end part of the insertion part (15), and having a distal-end opening (14a) which differs from the distal-end opening (13a) and is provided in the distal-end part of the insertion part (15), the distal-end opening (14a) having a larger opening area than the distal-end opening (13a).
