Abstract:

The purpose of the present invention is to provide an endoscope that can achieve equal usability for both the left and right hands without increasing the size of the control section. For said purpose: the control section (3) is formed in a bilaterally symmetrical shape; a suction button (41a) and a bending lever (45) are disposed opposite each other at the center of the left-to-right width direction of the control section (3); and the various arms (54b) are disposed, rotated by specified angles around the central axis (Ol) of the bending lever (45) with respect to the up, down, left and right tilting directions defined by the bending lever (45).
