Abstract:
This endoscope is provided with: an insertion section 2 adapted to be inserted into a subject; an operation section 3 interconnected with the proximal end side of the insertion section; a hard partition wall 21 provided inside the insertion section or inside the operation section and maintaining the watertightness between a first space S1 which includes the inside of the insertion section and a second space S2 which is formed on the proximal end side of the first space; and a first check valve 22 which is provided to the partition wall, allows gas to flow from the first space to the second space, and blocks the flow of gas from the second space to the first space.
