Abstract:
This endoscope 1 comprises: a pull wire 13 inserted into an insertion section 2 and provided with one end, which can be a joint formed by welding, and the other end; and a front end joint ring 14 on which said one end side of the pull wire 13 is disposed so as to extend along the inner peripheral surface 14i and which has a first through-hole 14h at a predetermined position, the first through-hole 14h having an opening in the inner peripheral surface 14i and an opening in the outer peripheral surface 14o and making it visible from the outside whether the pull wire 13 is disposed.
