Abstract:
This endoscope (1) has: an insertion section (5); a rising base (8); an operation section (4); a long member for operating the rising base (8); a movement section in which the long member is inserted and which moves axially along the long member; a fastener (51) mountable to and removable from the movement section and affixing the movement section and the long member when mounted to the movement section; and an urging section disposed in contact with the movement section and the fastener (51) and having a predetermined urging force acting in a direction in which the movement section and the fastener (51) are moved away from each other.
