Abstract:
The endoscope according to the present invention has: a plurality of wires, distal ends of which are connected to a curved part of an insertion part, and proximal ends of which extend into an operating part; a first portion extending in the direction of the longitudinal axis of the insertion part, the first portion being provided to the operating part; a second portion extending in a lateral direction with respect to the longitudinal axis, the second portion being provided on a proximal-end side of the first portion; and a bending part for linking the first portion and the second portion; there being provided one or a plurality of tubular members fixed to the operating part in the first portion and the second portion, any one of the plurality of wires being inserted through the one or plurality of tubular members, and there being provided a stopper fixed to the operating part and disposed so as to prevent movement of the bending part by coming in contact with the inside of a curve of the bending part.
