Abstract:
This endoscope 1 is provided with: a bending operation member 30 provided to an operation section 3 and bending the bending section 7 of an insertion section 2; a plurality of bending operation wires 31-34 pulled and loosened by the bending operation member; a plurality of tubular members 41-44 which are provided within the operation section 3, have the plurality of bending operation wires 31-34 respectively inserted therein, and are arranged in a slack state to avoid objects 16, 16a contained within the operation section 3; and a tubular member affixation section 50 which is provided within the operation section 3 and which optimizes slack in the plurality of tubular members 41-44 by affixing ends 45-48 of the plurality of tubular members 41-44 at different positions along a longitudinal axis O in a direction perpendicular to the longitudinal axis of the operation section.
