Abstract:
Provided is an endoscope with which it is possible to improve the cleanability of the endoscope while easily attaching and detaching a proximal end of a wire to and from a raising mechanism. The endoscope comprises: a movable member (96) that is disposed and exposed on the exterior of a manipulation part (22), and operates in tandem with the manipulation of a raising lever (20); a sleeve (156) that is disposed and exposed on the exterior of the manipulation part (22), and rotatably supports the movable member (96) on the manipulation part (22); a first bearing part (162) that is provided on the mobile member (96), has a closed-bottom recess (163) formed on an inner surface facing the manipulation part (22), and accommodates the sleeve (156) in the recess (163) and covers the sleeve (156); an O-ring (158) disposed between the outer circumferential surface of the sleeve (156) and the inner circumferential surface of the recess (163); a wire (60) that is linked at a distal end thereof to a raisable platform (30), and at a proximal end thereof to the movable member (96); and an attachment member (98) that is provided at the proximal end of the wire (60) and detachably engages with the movable member (96).
