Abstract:
This endoscope is provided with: a substantially cylindrical bottomed tube portion having a tip-end surface at one end in an axis extending direction; an image capture unit which includes an image capture element arranged on the back side of a light-transmissive optical member disposed on the tip-end surface, and which is accommodated in the bottomed tube portion; a pair of operating wire materials of which tip-end sides are fixed to a pair of arcing inner surfaces of the bottomed tube portion; a resin tube of which a tip-end side is connected to the bottomed tube portion, and into which the pair of operating wire materials are passed; and a hard member which is spaced apart from the bottomed tube portion in the axis direction, into which the pair of operating wire materials are passed, which is connected to the resin tube, and which has a hardness larger than that of the resin tube.
