Abstract:
Provided is an endoscope in which a wire affixing member can reliably affix a wire. This endoscope comprises: a manual operation part that is provided with an operation member; a raising platform that is provided to the tip-end part of an insertion part; a wire that operates the raising platform; a wire affixing member that affixes the wire; and a linking member equipped with a connection member that makes it possible to connect to the wire affixing member, and a rod that is connected to the operation member. The wire affixing member comprises an engaging part which extends to the tip-end side along the lengthwise axial direction of the wire, and which has a protrusion at the tip end. The manual operation part has a groove comprising: a first movement permitting region that allows the passage of the engagement part in the lengthwise axis direction of the wire when attaching or detaching the wire affixing member; a movement restricting region that allow the passage of the engagement part in the rotation direction and restricts the movement of the engagement part in the lengthwise axis direction of the wire; and a second movement permitting region that allows the passage of the engagement part in the lengthwise axis direction of the wire while the raising platform moves between a lowered position and a raised position.
