Abstract:
This endoscopic device has an imaging unit, an image signal generation unit, a lighting unit, an imaging control unit, and a lighting control unit. An imaging region in which a plurality of pixels are disposed includes a scan region. The imaging control unit controls the imaging unit such that when a prescribed operation mode is set, at least a portion of the exposure periods of the pixels disposed in at least a portion of the scan region overlap. The lighting control unit controls the lighting unit such that when the prescribed operation mode is set, a light source is lit during the period in which at least a portion of the exposure periods of the pixels disposed in at least a portion of the scan region overlap.
