Abstract:
In the present invention, an image processing unit (32) classifies a plurality of captured endoscopic images into reference images and similar images which are similar to the reference images. An image display unit (46) displays some of the plurality of reference images in an overview mode. An operation acceptance unit (42) accepts a selection operation for the displayed reference images. An image extraction unit (44) extracts a plurality of reference images captured temporally before and/or after the selected reference images. An image display unit (46) displays the plurality of reference images extracted by the image extraction unit (44).
