Abstract:
A sheath assembly (500) and method for using on an insertion tube (54) having a body portion (102) adapted at least partially encapsulate the tube, the body portion having a radially non-compliant portion (513) and a radially compliant portion (511); and at least one compliant inflatable member (510) coupled to a first attachment position to the radially non-compliant portion and a second attachment portion to the radially compliant portion, the inflatable member being adapted to be coupled to a pressure source and be inflated radially outwardly from the body portion.
