Title:
ENDOTOXIN DETECTION DEVICE AND ENDOTOXIN DETECTION METHOD
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2020/184482
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to provide: a device for detecting endotoxin within a short time and in a simple manner without the need to use an expensive reagent; and a method for detecting endotoxin. An endotoxin detection device according to the present invention is characterized by being provided with: an area section containing an electrolysis solution; a partitioning member which partitions the area section into two sections so that the two sections can communicate with each other through nanopores; a first electrode which is arranged in a first section; a second electrode which is arranged in a second section and is electrically connected to the first electrode; an electrolysis solution flow generation means for moving the electrolysis solution in the first section to the second section through the nanopores; an application means for applying a voltage between the first electrode and the second electrode; and a monitoring means for monitoring an electric current.
