This energization control device comprises a plurality of semiconductor switches provided between a power source and a load and connected in parallel, and controls energization between the power source and the load by turning on/off the semiconductor switches. The plurality of semiconductor switches include a first semiconductor switch and a second semiconductor switch. The energization control device is provided with a drive circuit that turns on the first semiconductor switch by applying thereto voltage higher than a voltage value outputted by the power source, a switch control unit that turns on the second semiconductor switch, and a resistor that is connected in series with a power source-side terminal of the second semiconductor switch and decreases voltage applied to the terminal.
