Abstract:
The present invention relates to an energy harvesting device employing a piezoelectric ceramic and magnets, in which a ventilator is driven using wind power and which is able to produce energy by means of the piezoelectric ceramic by using the forces of attraction and repulsion between magnets on a support to which a rotating disk, the magnets and the piezoelectric ceramic are attached; and can provide a harvesting device wherein the energy harvesting device employing a piezoelectric ceramic and magnets according to the present invention induces flexing in the piezoelectric ceramic and so generates a voltage from the piezoelectric ceramic, thereby allowing storage of a generated energy source, and the stored voltage can be used as surplus power or used as the power source for street lighting such that the use to which the invention is put can vary depending on the strength of the wind, which is to say the wind power.
