Abstract:
This energy management device, which is provided to a consumer and capable of controlling electric equipment of the customer by communicating with a server requesting a demand response, is provided with: a reception unit for receiving a request of a demand response from the server; a transmission unit for transmitting a response of participation or non-participation with respect to the request; an electrical equipment control unit for controlling electric equipment; and an information acquisition unit for acquiring information on the electric equipment, and transmits a response of non-participation when it is determined, after transmitting a response of participation, that the request of a demand response cannot be achieved.
