Abstract:
This energy management system (10) is an energy management system for a microgrid (1) provided with: a power load (30) and/or a renewable energy power generation system (40); and an energy storage device (20). The energy management system (10) comprises: a prediction unit (111) which periodically predicts power demand and/or renewable energy power-generated power in a predetermined period, and electricity bill; and an optimization unit (112) which optimizes, using the result of prediction made by the prediction unit, an optimum charge/discharge plan for the energy storage device in the light of uncertainty of the prediction.
