Description:

SPECIFICATION

ENERGY RECYCLING ELECTRIC POWER GENERATOR

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION:

The present invention relates in general to electric power generators but more specifically to an energy recycling electric power generators that would serve as an alternative to state of the art portable ari-d stationary electric power generators . DISCUSSION OF THE PRIOR ARTS:

Present day electric generators especially of the portable types are bulky, heavy and expensive to produce power especially if 1000-4000 watts power is desired. These type of electric power generators which are commonly driven by four (4) stroke or two (2) stroke gas or diesel engines are also very expensive and inefficient in fuel consumption. OBJECT OF THE INVENTION:

It is therefore the primary object of the present invention to provide an energy recycling electric power generator that would solve the problems mentioned.

Another object of the present invention is to provide an energy recycling electric power generator

that will be lighter, cheaper and less expensive in producing any given wattage requirement.

Another object of the present invention is to provide an energy recycling electric power generator that uses sophisticated step-up inverter and a modern type step-up transformer that converts simple 12 Volts Direct Current (DC) power to 120 Volts Alternating Current (AC) .

Still another object of the present invention is to provide an energy recycling electric power generator that further step-up said 120 Volts Alternating Current (AC) to 240 Volts to increase the power.

Still another object of the present invention is to provide an energy recycling electric power generator that utilizes step-up transformers (ideally up to 1,000 Volts) in order to multiply its power to be able to run up to Four (4) motors in parallel or in series. This type of set-up when combined with matching transmission gears will then become suitable for automobiles and motorcycles .

Yet another object of the present invention is to provide an energy recycling electric power generator that seeks to conserve energy by adding an electric motor to assist the power from the small four (4) stroke

or two (2) stroke conventional engines such that at best will produce the need to run it at high RPM hence increase the fuel consumption due to full throttle.

These and other objects and advantages of the present invention will become apparent upon reading the following detailed description taken in conjunction with the appended drawings . DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS:

Figure 1 is a diagram of the present invention for an energy recycling electric power

generator, and

Figure 2 is another embodiment of the present invention showing its simplified version. DETAILED DESCRIPTION:

Referring now to the drawing wherein like reference numeral designate parts throughout, there is shown the present invention for an energy recycling electric power generator generally designated as 10.

Said energy recycling electric power generator 10 comprising of a four (4) stroke or two (2) stroke engine 11 having controlled RPM to prevent stoppage, a motor 12 connected to said engine 11 through a shaft 13 having a flywheel 14, an alternator or dynamo 15 connected to said motor 12 by another shaft member 16, an inverter 17

connected to said alternator or dynamo 15 through wires 19 and 20, a battery 21 connected to said alternator or dynamo 15 through wires 22 and 23 that would serve as storage of excess power generated by said dynamo 15, a step-up transformer 24 being connected to said motor 12 by wires 25 and 26 through a control panel 27. Said step-up transformer 24 is also connected to said inverter 17 through wires 28 and 29. Power outlets 30 and 31 provided on said control panel 27 that would provide excess power and surplus power to drive geared motors to run vehicles. As shown in Figure 1, a step-up transformer 24 of 120 Volts to 240 Volts was used in the present invention. It is however anticipated that if the voltage is step-up to 580 Volts, a stronger and bigger motor 12 can be used in place to assists said conventional engine II in sustaining the power loop in order to supply enough surplus energy to run cars, motor boats, trucks and household appliances. The energy- recycling mode in the loop, i.e. the 110 watts output of the inverter 17 is step-up some more to 220 volts (higher voltage transformer is more ideal if the life- threatening shock is addressed) ; the 220 volts output of said inverter 17 is connected to said electric motor 12. The purpose of said electric motor 12 is to assists said

engine 11 or augments the torque produced by it. The need to increase the RPM or need to open throttle of the in line engine 11 is minimized as long as the power from said inverter 17 is continuously delivered to said motor 12. Lower RPM or open throttle requirements said engine

11 will result in improved fuel efficiency. Said motor

12 diverts back-unused electric power from the inverter 17 to the step-up transformer 24 thereby resulting in the engine 11 being relieved of work overload.

One possible embodiment of the present invention is to provide an energy recycling electric power generator that can be installed in the back chassis of a vehicle. Said energy recycling electric power generator may comprise of a commonly used four (4) stroke or two (2) stroke engine, high volts winding electric motor that allows the power from 12 volts input to multiply several times, an alternator, an inverter connected to said alternator, a battery that serves as storage of excess power generated by said alternator, power outlet provided on said inverter and a step-up transformer.

As shown in Figure 2, for practical purposes, the energy-recycling mode can be removed when the present invention is in mobile or hand carried type portable electric power generator. The power generator shown in

Figure 2 has superior power capability and yet a lot lighter than conventional electric generators that is powered by small engine-large dynamo tandem. Said simplified and portable energy recycling electric power generator 100 comprises of a two (2) or four (4) stroke engine 101 being connected to an alternator or dynamo 102 through a shaft 103, an inverter 104 connected to said alternator or dynamo 102 through wires 105 and 106, a power transformer 107 connected to said inverter 104 through wires 108 and 109 and a storage battery 110 connected to said alternator or dynamo 102 through wires 111 and 112.

It is to be understood that while certain elements of present invention have been illustrated and described, it is not limited thereto except insofar as such limitations are included in the following claims and allowable functional equivalents thereof.
