Abstract:
An energy saving device in front of a propeller, which is mounted on a stern tube (1) on one side of the propeller that is close to the bow of a ship. The device comprises a plurality of guide vanes (20) which are symmetrically arranged on the left side and the right side in the width direction of the ship. The guide vanes (20) are welded on the stern tube (1) in the radial direction of the stern tube (1). The front side of the root portion of each guide vane (20) is welded to the stern tube (1). The rear side of the root portion of each guide vane (20) extends to the rear of the stern and is not connected to the stern tube (1). The head portions or the middle portions of the guide vanes (20) are connected via annular or semicircular guide pipes (30). The rear side of the root portion of each guide vane (20) is not connected to the ship body. The device only preserves the upper blade area that has energy saving effects, thereby improving the energy saving effects.
