Abstract:
[Problem] To control the operation of connection equipment by switching between a plurality of templates. [Solution] Provided is an energy-saving device which can switch between a plurality of templates in which procedures for controlling connection equipment are determined. To be specific, the energy-saving device controls the energy consumed by the connection equipment which is installed in a building, and the energy-saving device is provided with: a template storage unit for storing the plurality of templates in which the procedures for controlling the connection equipment are determined; and an operation control unit which selects, from the plurality of templates, an execution template to be used for controlling the operation of the connection equipment, and controls the operation of the connection equipment in accordance with the execution template. The operation control unit reselects the execution template in accordance with at least one change in the state of the connection equipment and the state of the area where the connection equipment is installed.
