The present application discloses an energy storage device, a control device and a paralleling system. The energy storage device comprises: a bidirectional inversion module, which is configured to convert direct-current (DC) electric energy stored in the energy storage device into first AC electric energy; an AC input module, which is configured to receive second AC electric energy output by a first device, the first device comprising at least one other energy storage device; a first communication module, which is configured to establish a first connection with a second device and receive a paralleling instruction sent by the second device via the first connection, wherein the first connection at least comprises a wireless communication connection, and the second device at least comprises a control device of the energy storage device; a first control module, which is configured to control the energy storage device to switch to a paralleling state on the basis of the paralleling instruction; and an AC output module, which is configured to output the combination of the first AC electric energy and the second AC electric energy when the energy storage device is in a paralleling state. The energy storage disclosed by the present application can be controllably, intelligently and flexibly switched to a paralleling state.
