Abstract:
Provided in the embodiments of the present application is an energy storage device, comprising at least one energy storage module. Each energy storage module comprises a box, a plurality of batteries, and a smoke exhaust assembly, wherein the plurality of batteries are arranged in the box; each battery comprises a battery case and a plurality of battery cells; each battery cell comprises a pressure relief mechanism and an electrode terminal; the pressure relief mechanism is arranged on a first wall of the battery cell; the electrode terminal is arranged on a second wall of the battery cell that is different from the first wall; and the battery case is provided with a first exhaust port. The smoke exhaust assembly is in communication with the first exhaust port of each battery, and is used for discharging smoke discharged from the plurality of batteries to outside of the box. The energy storage device of the present application has high safety.
