Abstract:
An energy storage system according to an embodiment of the present invention may comprise: a plurality of DC-DC converters for controlling a plurality of battery racks; a power control device (PCS) for controlling power in conjunction with the plurality of DC-DC converters and a PV system; and a power management controller (PMS) for determining operation modes and output references of the PCS and the DC-DC converters according to the state of the PV system, wherein the power management controller can determine the operation mode of the PCS and the operation modes of the DC-DC converters according to whether or not the PV system generates power.
