Abstract:
An energy storage system according to an embodiment of the present invention is linked with a solar module and a power grid, and comprises a plurality of battery racks, wherein the system may comprise: a direct current converter for controlling the charging and discharging of the plurality of battery racks; a direct current connection unit for linking with the solar module and the direct current converter; a main power converter for receiving, as an input, an output of the direct current connection unit, converting same into an alternating current and then outputting same; and a control device which monitors the state of the plurality of battery racks, the direct current converter, the solar module, and the main power converter, and controls the operation of the main power converter and the direct current converter according to the result of comparing the direct current voltage of the solar module and the direct current voltage of the main power converter.
